The 2026 TasTAFE Trade Excellence Awards recognise the commitment and outstanding achievements of learners across a range of trade industries, with ceremonies held in 3 regions: North-West, North, and South. These events allow learners to celebrate and share their success within their local communities.

The North-West Region event details are:

Date: Tuesday, August 18, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM 
Location: Paranaple Convention Centre, Devonport, 137 Rooke St, Devonport
Ticket cost: Award winner and 1 guest free; additional adults and children 12yrs or older $25 per person and children aged 2yrs – 11yrs $5.  Children under 2yrs are free.
Dress: Smart-casual
RSVP: Please register your attendance by Tuesday 11 August 2026.

Everyone aged 2yrs or over must have a ticket, thank you.

Drinks and canapes will be served before and after the ceremony.

Parking

Located at 137 Rooke St, Devonport, the entrance to the paranaple Convention Centre is through automatic doors directly off Market Square. The multi-level car park, with entrances off Best St and Fenton Way, offers direct access to Market Square and includes free parking for the first 30 minutes.

Refund/change policy

• Any bookings cancelled more than 7 business days prior to the event will receive a full refund.  
• Any cancellation within 7 days of the event will not be refunded.
• Names on tickets may be changed at any time by emailing events@tafe.tas.edu.au.
